Congressman Patrick Murphy Tours Paramount Facility; Praises Paramount as a Model for Small Business During Uncertain Economic Times

On Monday, August 2nd, Paramount was proud to host Congressman Patrick Murphy (D-8th District) for a facility tour and press conference highlighting the Congressman’s jobs initiatives programs and to applaud Paramount’s ability in expanding its employee base despite the tumultuous economic challenges that have hit the American manufacturing sector particularly hard.

By focusing on industry innovation leadership and high tech manufacturing capabilities, Murphy called Paramount “A model for success in the 21st century – continuously adapting and reinventing itself to maintain sustainability retain and create jobs and serve as model company fostering economic growth”.

Congressman Murphy’s visit coincided with the first day of work for Georgianne Paqsualone, a newly hired injection mold press operator Paramount recruited from the Congressman’s July 13th Job Fair held at a local high school in Bristol, PA.

Since January, manufacturing jobs in Pennsylvania have grown by 9,100 employees. “Paramount is helping to lead the economy recovery and bring back good paying jobs back to Bucks County,” Murphy said.
